Florence
Houisse
Florence Houisse practises intellectual property law for French and international clients, with singular expertise in the video game, tech, and fashion industries.
Florence Houisse has been working in the video game industry for over 10 years. Her experience alongside a wide range of players in the sector — studios, publishers, distributors, financing platforms, marketing agencies, museums, etc. — has allowed her to develop a 360° vision of this unique industry. She has a thorough command of its economic and operational challenges, both day-to-day and occasional, and offers her clients concrete and effective legal support, fostering lasting and productive collaborations.
Her practice is built on strong contractual expertise, covering in particular the structuring, negotiation and implementation of contracts related to the protection and exploitation of rights (assignments, licences, publishing, distribution, adaptation rights, service agreements), as well as due diligence operations.
Seasoned in complex negotiations, particularly at the international level, Florence Houisse acts as a pragmatic support in the service of her clients’ business development. She also regularly handles litigation and assists clients in the management and resolution of their disputes.
Called to the Paris Bar in 2014, she practised for over ten years at Kern & Weyl, a firm specialised in intellectual property, first as an associate and then as a partner. Florence Houisse is a co-founder of M21 Avocats.
